Elsa Goveia Memorial Lecture
The Annual Elsa Goveia Memorial Lecture hosted by the Department of History and Archaeology at the UWI Mona Campus is scheduled to take place on Wednesday, April 6 at the Philip Sherlock Centre for the Creative Arts, beginning at 5.00 p.m. The lecturer will be Professor Alvin Thompson, Professor of Caribbean History at the UWI Cave Hill Campus. He will speak on the topic Maroon Struggles and the Ideology of Freedom. Interested persons are invited to attend.
