The University of the West Indies HIV/AIDS Response Programme (UWIHARP) will hold its third annual Scientific and Business Conference from May 5-8 at the Sherbourne Conference Centre in Barbados. The theme of the conference is ‘Towards a Strategic Framework for HIV/AIDS Research in the Caribbean; Emphasizing Behaviour Change’. Discussion will focus on a range of topics including children and adolescent issues; gender, sexuality and power and the ethics of HIV/AIDS related research in the Caribbean.
