Minister of Finance and Planning, Dr. the Hon. Omar Davies will be the speaker in the next in the series of Political Forums – Jamaica the Way Forward, being organised by the Faculty of Social Sciences. The forum takes place on Thursday, April 21 at the Undercroft of the Senate Building from 6:30 p.m. – 8:30 p.m. The forum will begin with a vision statement by the presenter to be followed by a moderated discussion of about 90 minutes in which UWI Faculty, students and members of the public and the media will engage in a wide ranging discussion of the issues. Other speakers in the series will be Dr. Karl Blythe on April 28 and Minister Portia Simpson Miller on May 5.
