The School of Education at the UWI Mona Campus will present a forum entitled Developing a Literate Population: the Challenge for the 21st Century on Tuesday, May 3 at the Philip Sherlock Centre for the Creative Arts, beginning at 5.00 p.m. This will be the thirteenth in the series of forums that examine critical issues in education. The forum will be addressed by speakers who are specialist in the area and include persons from the primary and secondary school system, teachers colleges, the University of Technology and the UWI itself.
