Members of the University community are requested to exercise care when using the Mona Bowl, especially at nights and outside the halls of residence. Students who have parked in that area have been held up, cellular phones, and other valuables stolen.
Campus Security has provided the following guideline:
 Do not occupy parked cars in the Mona Bowl longer than it takes to park and lock up the vehicle
 After dark, do not stroll, walk or loiter in the Mona Bowl, particularly near the open lot opposite the halls of residence.
 Persons walking to and from events talking place in the Mona Bowl are advised to do so in groups and to walk directly to their destinations.
 Use the security shuttle bus or the escort service, telephone 2748 or 2749.
