Professor Celia Christie, Professor of Child Health Deparment of Obstetrics, Gynaecology and Child Health, and the Kingston Paediatric Aids (PAIDS) Programme, has been invited to deliver the 2nd Annual C Davenport Cook Lecture in International Child Health at Yale University. The Lecture will take place on October 5. The Lecture seeks to bring distinguished physicians, scientists and public health experts to Yale to discuss their efforts to improve the lives of children worldwide.
Also Ms Jacynth Moore of the Kingston PAIDS Programme will present a paper on “Challenges and Successes of Voluntary Counselling and Testing Programme in Antenatal Clinics in Jamaica” at the 18th Annual Association of Nurses in Aids Care Conference in Orlando, Florida, on November 18.
