As part of its efforts to conserve energy, the University of the West Indies, Mona Campus will mount a training workshop for Energy Coordinators on Tuesday, November 29, at the Multifunctional Room at the Main Library beginning at 9.00 a.m. The persons selected will participate in a programme of training that will equip them with the capability to recognize inefficient energy consumption practices in the use of electricity and water. It will also expose them to conservation practices in the working environment and therefore help Departments to protect scarce resources while pursuing a defined comfort regime.
