International Nursing Midwifery Research Conference and Mary Seivwright Day
The Nursing Midwifery Research Centre of The UWI School of Nursing, Mona (UWISON) will be hosting its annual International Nursing Midwifery Research Conference and Mary Seivwright Day under the theme “Changing Visions to Reality Through Nursing Research 1966-2006”. The Conference will be held from June 1-3 at the Sunset Jamaica Grande Hotel, Ocho Rios, Jamaica.
This year’s conference is a special occasion for UWISON as the School celebrates 40 years of dedicated service to the development of nursing education in the Caribbean.
A 40th Anniversary Banquet will be held under the theme “Honouring our heritage, acknowledging achievements: Moving forward with confidence”. All Alumni of The UWISON and The University Hospital of the West Indies School of Nursing are specially invited to these celebrations.
