The Caribbean Child Development Centre (CCDC) has launched its webpage, http://uwi.edu/ccdc/index.htm . The webpage describes the current and recent activities of the Centre and hosts a large database http://uwi.edu/ccdc/resourceroom/index.htm. The Organization Projects and Documents (OPD) database provides a bibliography of organizations and full-text of research and documents on issues related to children; such as the rights of the child, adolescent and family. Its main purpose is to produce and promote the use of information to all individuals who work on behalf and for the benefit of children with the aim of managing the processes of change in children's living conditions in the region. The database is monitored by the Inter-American Child Information Network (RIIN), a specialized organization of the OAS, with the Caribbean Child Development Centre (CCDC) acting as a focal center for the Caribbean.
