Senior Assistant Registrar at the UWI Mona Campus Raymond Eytle has been selected as the recipient of the Jamaica Employers’ Federation Ambassador Award for 2004-2005. The Award was presented to Mr. Eytle at the JEF’s Evening of Excellence held at the Little Theatre recently. The Award is in recognition of Mr. Eytle’’s outstanding support of the JEF. Other members of the University community have also been recognized for outstanding service in their respective fields. Recently the Institute of Jamaica awarded the Silver Musgrave Medal to former UWI staff members, Professor R. Anthony Chen, Amy Robertson, Professor Daphne Douglas and Professor Howard Spencer. Youth medal recipient, Dr. Parris Lyew-Ayee is currently on the staff of the UWI Mona Campus while Gold Medal recipient Richard Hart is to receive an honorary degree from the University at the Graduation Ceremony scheduled for November this year.
