The UWI St. Augustine Campus in Trinidad and Tobago will host its first ever UWI/SPEC International Half Marathon on Sunday, November 6 at the Campus. Local, regional and international runners will compete in the 13-mile race, which is hosted by the UWI Sport and Physical Education Centre. The Half Marathon is registered with the International Amateur Athletics Federation and will offer prizes amounting to over Twenty Thousand US Dollars. There are special categories for age groups ranging from fifteen to over 70 years, as well as for physically challenged male and female participants. The registration deadline is Friday, October 28 at 5.00 p.m.
