The 2005 Scotia Bank Foundation/Sir Alister McIntyre Scholarship has been awarded to Dinesh Williams, a full time student in Cohort Eight of the MBA Programme at the Mona School of Business. The award was presented to Mr. Williams at a ceremony held recently in the Executive Lecture Theatre of the School. A second scholarship, the Gordon Draper Memorial Scholarship was presented to another member of Cohort Eight of the MBA Programme, Kareen Henlon. The Scotia Bank Jamaica Foundation donates an annual scholarship to full-time students at the Mona School of Business in honour of former UWI Vice Chancellor, Sir Alister McIntyre. The Gordon Draper Memorial Scholarship is awarded by the Mona School of Business in honour of a former faculty member of the school who passed away in 2004.
