The Centre for Caribbean Thought, in association with Ian Randle Publishers, invites interested persons to attend the presentation "After Man - Towards the Human: Critical Essays on Sylvia Wynter" on Wednesday December 14, beginning at 6:00 p.m. Vice Chancellor Emeritus Professor Rex Nettleford will be the speaker at the function, which takes place at the Undercroft of the Senate Building. The Centre for Caribbean Thought will also host a Symposium entitled "The Ideology of Orality in African Literature" on Thursday December 15, at 2:00 p.m. in GFT 1(Sir Alister McIntyre Building). The presenter will be Dr. Harry Garuba of the Universities of CAPE Town (South Africa) and Harvard (U.S.A.). Interested persons are invited to attend.
