The University of the West Indies has implemented a new Student Administration System, which will simplify and streamline administrative, processes and procedures, include all categories of students and include all areas of student administration.
This interactive online system will allow students to register, request academic approval for courses selected, request course overrides, make adjustments to registration-add/drop courses, check financial information and keep track of their progress toward the completion of their degree using Curriculum, Advising and Programme Planning (CAPP).
They will also be able to view registration, access information on courses offered, credit weights, pre/co-requisites, course descriptions, update contact information and do ‘what if’ scenarios that would show the implications of a change of major/programme: - additional credits/courses required.

Application forms for the 2006/2007 academic year are being processed in the new system. In January 2006, Students will complete the Semester II registration and Add-Drop in the New System. Students will also be able to view Semester I examination results, financial information and registration information.
