Preparations are in high gear for the Annual Commemoration Celebrations and Alumni Week at the UWI Mona Campus, which will take place from February 16 - 24. The activities will be dedicated to Professor the Hon. Leslie Robinson a founding member of the then University College of West Indies in recognition of his outstanding contribution to the teaching of Mathematics at the institution and his overall involvement in the life of the University as Pro Vice Chancellor, the first Principal of the Mona Campus and Director of Planning. Activities include a Grand Commemoration Dinner on Friday at the Mona Visitors’ Lodge and Conference Centre. Guest speaker Professor the Hon. Kenneth Hall, Pro Vice Chancellor and Principal UWI, Mona. There will also be a cabaret performance by Richie Stephens. Tickets are $3500 each. Gate prize return trip for two on air Jamaica to any Florida or Eastern Caribbean destination.
