The United Theological College of the West Indies, (UTC) will be celebrating its Founders’ Day from March 13 – 17, under the theme ‘Prison Ministry and Reformative Justice’. The week begins with a Church Service at the UTC Chapel on Monday, March 13, at 6.00 p.m. The annual Founders’ Day Lecture will be delivered on Tuesday, March 14 at 9.00 a.m. by Rev Dr Edward Hunt, Director of the Prison Programme, New York Theological Seminary and will be followed by a rap session with Faculty members and students. On Wednesday, March 15, Rev Penelope Morgan-Owens, Assistant Force Chaplain of the Jamaica Constabulary Force will speak on the topic “The Church and Criminal Justice’. The week’s activities end with a Fundraising Banquet. The speaker will be Mrs. Beverly Anderson Manley.
