Application for Full-time Degree Programme
Applications are invited from suitably qualified persons to pursue the full-time degree programme in Occupational and Environmental Safety and Health (OESH) offered by The University of the West Indies, Mona Campus commencing August 2006.
The programme is designed to provide advanced education and training in diverse areas of occupational and environmental safety and health and to develop a cadre of highly competent practitioners of OESH. The programme is of three years duration.
All applicants to the Mona Campus of the University of the West Indies must register for the English Language Proficiency Test. The test registration form must be submitted simultaneously with the application for entry to the University. The date of the test is August 9, 2006.
A non-refundable processing fee of J$450.00 (bank draft in your local currency) is applicable. The (bank draft for persons not resident in Jamaica.) must be submitted along with the application forms to Admissions Section, The University of the West Indies, Mona, Kingston 7, no later than May 19, 2006
Application forms are available from the following locations: The Senior Assistant Registrar/Assistant Registrar, Student Affairs (Admissions) at Mona, Cave Hill or St. Augustine as well as from Resident Representatives/University Representatives in Non-Campus Countries and to download the application form please visit the web-site at www.mona.uwi.edu/admissions/forms.
Where an application has already been submitted for another programme, applicants may request that their first or preferred major be changed to OESH. This request must be made in writing to the Senior Assistant Registrar, Student Affairs, Admissions, The University of the West Indies, Mona, Kingston 7, Jamaica W.I.
