The International Tertiary Level Personnel Association (ITLPA) has presented its Outstanding State and International Division Award to Merrit Henry, Student Services Manager, Placement and Career Services in the Office of Student Services, Mona. The Award was presented by the Association at its annual Convention held in Indianapolis, USA, recently. This award recognizes outstanding contributions at the State and International Division Levels including involvement in conferences, organization of workshops and other professional efforts. Mrs. Henry is the immediate Past President of the Caribbean Tertiary Level Personnel Association (CTLPA). She is a founding member of the CTLPA and between 1996 and 2002 was a Member at Large, with special responsibility for recruiting new members. She spearheaded the formation of the Barbados Chapter and directed and staged the first CTLPA workshop that focused on collaboration of faculty and student services for the holistic approach to student learning and development.
