The Epidemiology Research Unit of the Tropical Medicine Research Institute, UWI in collaboration with the Ministry of Health, Jamaica and the Caribbean Health Research Council, Trinidad and Tobago will host an Advanced Research Skills Training Workshop from September 19-21, 2006. The venue will be the computer laboratory at the Sir Arthur Lewis Institute of Social & Economic Studies, UWI Mona.
The training offered by the workshop sessions will enable participants to: design a questionnaire to be used for data collection; use a statistical package to conduct data analysis; enter & process data collected and review & critique scientific literature
Available spaces are limited and participants will be accepted on a "first come, first served" basis. The cost of attending the workshop is J$5000.00.
