Study Skills Workshops
The Counselling Service Unit of the University Health Centre is offering a six part series workshop on Study Skills aimed at improving students’ academic performance and assisting them in better coping with the various pressures of campus life. These sessions take place on Thursdays in the Neville Hall Lecture Theatre (N1) in the Faculty of Humanities and Education at 2 pm. The first of the six part series commences on September 14, 2006 and will continue until October 19, 2006. This week’s topic is “Assessing your Learning Styles.”
The other topics featured in the workshops are: Improving your Note Taking Skills, Improving your Memory and Concentration, Time Management, Stress Management and Test Taking Skills.
