The 2006-7 UWI Venture Competition (UWIVC) is now open to student teams of The University of the West Indies. Entry in the UWIVC is a tremendous opportunity for these teams to participate in the premier business plan competition in the region. It would help them to capitalize on entrepreneurial opportunities, obtain a place in the Vincent HoSang (Entrepreneurship) Programme with a chance of making a dream into a reality by implementing the business plan. The winning team will also receive training and coaching to sharpen their business planning and presentation skills and possibly monetary prizes.
The UWIVC is the foremost business plan regional competition where MBA and graduate students present their business ideas to compete for the coveted position of UWI representatives at the Opportunity Funding Corporation Venture Challenge in Atlanta, USA.
