Academics and other persons engaged in research on the Caribbean are invited to submit articles for a special issue of The Round Table to be published in 2008 on the Caribbean. This issue will focus on the Competitiveness of the Small Vulnerable Economies of the Caribbean region. The Round Table, is Britain’s oldest international affairs journal that provides analysis and commentary on all aspects of international affairs. The journal is the major source for coverage of the policy issues concerning the contemporary Commonwealth and its role in international affairs, with occasional articles on themes of historical interest.

Contributors should send their electronic submissions (as a Word file) to roundtable.caribbean@gmail.com by August 31. Topics for submission include: Trade Policies and Regional Competitiveness, State, Institutions and Competitiveness, Sector Competitiveness: Agriculture, Tourism, Financial Services, Health, etc., Human Resource Development in the Caribbean and Technology ad the Firm Competitiveness.
