The International Journal of Early Years Education is a peer-reviewed journal published three times per year, March, June and October, by Routledge Journals, Taylor & Francis, Oxford, UK.

The journal is a forum for researchers and practitioners to debate the theories, research, policy and practice which sustain effective early years education worldwide. It offers a comparative perspective on research and major new initiatives in the care and education of young children.

Members of the academic staff are invited to submit papers by April 30 for the special issue focusing on early years education in the Caribbean region. Submissions may be made electronically to ijeye_carib@ecc.gov.jm or by post attention Dr. Maureen Samms-Vaughan c/o Section of Child Health, Department of Obstetrics Gynaecology & Child Health, UWI or the Early Childhood Commission. Papers on current research studies, theories, policy and practice initiatives are invited for consideration.
