Study Skills Workshop
The Counselling Service Unit of the University Health Centre is offering a six part series workshop on Study Skills aimed at improving students’ academic performance and assisting them in better coping with the various pressures of campus life. These sessions take place each Thursday at 2:00 p.m. in the Neville Hall Lecture Theatre (N1) in the Faculty of Humanities and Education. The series continues on Thursday, September 21, looking at the topic “Improving your Note Taking Skills.”
This six part series will run until October 19. The workshops feature the following topics: Assessing your Learning Styles, Improving your Memory and Concentration, Time Management, Stress Management and Test Taking Skills.
