The University of the West Indies will be an exhibitor at the GO ABROAD FAIR 2006 to be held at the Metro Toronto Convention Centre, on Saturday, September 16 and Sunday, September 17. Exhibition hours on Saturday will be from 12 noon until 6:00 p.m. and on Sunday, from 11:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
The Go Abroad Fair is an annual show-style trade fair organised by the Canadian Education Centre (CEC) Network. Exhibitors at the fair will showcase opportunities for Canadian youth “to take on the world” through study abroad, youth exchange, work-and-travel options, volunteer opportunities, cultural and language programs, and overseas adventure travel.
Hourly seminars on a broad range of related topics will run throughout the two-day fair. In just two short years the Go Abroad Fair has become the focal point for Canadian students and youth who would like to experience life in another country. It is the most comprehensive fair of its kind in Canada and admission is free.
