The UWI Panoridim Steel Orchestra celebrates its 30th Anniversary with a week of activities at the University of the West Indies, Mona Campus from October 1-7. The celebrations will begin with a church service at the UWI Chapel on Sunday, October 1 at 7:15 am. The official opening and launch of the week’s celebration will feature an exhibition on the same day at 10 am in the Phillip Sherlock Centre for the Creative Arts (PSCCA). The exhibition will be open for viewing until Saturday, October 7. Other activities include Lunch Hour concert on Thursday, October 5, 2006 at PSCCA and steel pan workshops from October 2-5. All are welcome to participate in these events.
