The Electronics Unit of the Department of Chemistry located at St. Georges Close, in the Faculty of Pure and Applied Sciences UWI Mona invites the University community to the launch of the “Mechanical Engineering Workshop (MEW)” . The event will begin with an opening ceremony on Friday, October 6 at 3:00 p.m. in the Inter Faculty Lecture Theatre (IFLT) followed by a tour of the Workshop. The workshop offers comprehensive repairing and maintenance services for a variety of mechanical and electromechanical equipment all throughout Jamaica. It features designing work related to new scientific and industrial equipment which will also be taken by MEW on a contract basis.
