ANNUAL WORLD OF WORK SEMINARS
The Office of Placement and Career Services presents its Annual World of Work Seminars from period October 12, 2006 to November 23, 2006 over seven consecutive Thursdays at 3 pm.
The series of seminars focus on assisting students (prospective employees) to develop skills and competencies needed to enhance their academics in order to be successful in the world of work.
The presenters for these seminars are mainly human resource practitioners from public and private sector organizations who share the most current and relevant information. They have years of experience addressing World of Work issues. There are a wide range of topics to be covered including ‘Entrepreneurship’ and ‘Wealth Management’.
The upcoming seminar for Thursday, October 26 deals with the topic “Preparing for and Attending the Interview: How to Dress Appropriately and Respond to Commonly Asked Questions” in Seminar Room 10 (SR10), Faculty of Social Sciences. The presentation will be made by Genieve Sundar, Human Resource Manager, Grace Remittance Services Limited and Naomi Holness, Group Personnel Services Manager, Grace Kennedy and Company Limited.
Certificates of participation will be awarded to qualifying participants.
