The Jamaican Historical Society is hosting a talk by Dr Swithin Wilmot, Head, Department of History and Archaeology, titled "George William Gordon: Early excursions into electoral politics in Free Jamaica, 1844-1849". This will take place on Tuesday, October 24, in the Main Library's Multifunction Room at 6:00 pm. All are invited.
