The Faculty of Medical Sciences hosts its 15th Annual Research Conference between November 15 and 17 at the Main Medical Library Lecture Theatre, UWI, Mona under the theme: “Drug Development from Natural Products: Past, Present and Future.” The Conference is aimed at showcasing the research of the Medical Faculty and to provide a forum to share and explore developments in health research with members of the medical community, decision-making bodies and the wider communities.
Dr. Gordon Cragg, retired Chief of the Natural Products Branch Developmental Therapeutics Program will be the guest speaker at the Sir Kenneth Standard Distinguished Lecture and Opening Ceremony taking place on November 15.
