UWI PUBLIC RELATIONS STUDENTS STAGE EXPO
Over 200 students from high schools across the island have been invited to benefit from the advice and knowledge they will receive from this year’s Public Relation Expo, slated to be held at The Undercroft of the University of the West Indies’ Senate Building on Thursday, November 16. The Expo is being staged by Advanced Public Relations Students at the Caribbean Institute of Media and Communication (CARIMAC) under the theme “PR: Paving the Way Forward.”
High school students have also been invited to participate in an essay competition on the theme and the winner of this competition will be awarded at the Expo. Attendees can also anticipate exciting and informative presentations from featured speakers including Tracy Moses, Marketing Executive (Pulse), Ann-Marie Dobson- Public Relations Officer (Jamaica Aids Support), Gerrard McDaniel- Director of Corporate Communications (Ministry of Tourism, Entertainment and Culture), Garth Williams- Public Relations Officer (Jamaica Football Federation), Lance Neita- Public Relations Manager (Alumina Partners of Jamaica) and Carlette DeLeon, Director (Headline Entertainment).
