The Office of Placement and Career Services hosts the Annual World of Work Seminars over the period October 12 to November 23, 2006 – (7 consecutive Thursdays) at 3 pm.

The series of seminars focus on assisting students (prospective employees) to develop skills and competencies needed to enhance their academics in order to be successful in the world of work.

The upcoming seminar for Thursday, November 2 will be held in Seminar Room 10 (SR10), Faculty of Social Sciences. The topic for discussion is “Employers Expectations: Coping with the Challenges of the 21st Century Workplace” and will be presented by Marsha Lumley, Business Development Manager, Red Stripe and Myrtle Weir, Vice President, Group Human Resources, Supreme Ventures Limited.
