The 2006 -2007 Intercollegiate Sports Association season kicked off on Saturday October 21, 2006 at the University of Technology. The UWI athletes paraded their top class gear and snatched the 1st place trophy for the uniform parade. The day continued on a blast with the UWI Male Basketball Team whipping EXED 67 – 42 in their first game of the season. The Netballers were defeated by GC Foster College, but gained second position in the one day rally.

The UWI Netball, Football and Basketball Teams next home games are against Portmore Community College on Thursday November 2, 2006 and EXED Community College on Saturday November 4, 2006 at 10:00 am at the Mona Bowl. Come out and support our athletes!

The semi-finals of the Intercollegiate Greg Garel Memorial K.O. football competition will be played on Tuesday October 31, 2006, both games starting at 3:00pm.
