The Vice Chancellor’s Award for Excellence 2005/6 will be held on Thursday, November 9 at 6 pm at the Mona Visitors’ Lodge and Conference Centre. There are four awardees for this year, two of which are from the Mona Campus namely: Professor Helen Jacobs, Department of Chemistry, Mona for Research and Cordel Nelson, Senior Assistant Registrar (Examinations), Examinations Section, Mona for service to the University community. The other awardees are: Dr. Kim Mallalieu, Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering, St. Augustine for teaching and Professor Rose-Marie Antoine, Faculty of Law, Cave Hill Campus for Research.

This Award was instituted in 1994 by the then Vice Chancellor as a way of recognizing excellence on the part of the academic and senior administrative staff.
