The annual Dance Faculty concert at the School of Dance, Edna Manley College of the Visual and Performing Arts presents Physical Labrish!, from November 17 to 19 at the School of Dance Studio Theatre, 5 Arthur Wint Drive, Kingston 5.
This year, the Labrish is all about Thinking Allowed… a celebration of the fact that dance is a MIND-BODY-SPIRIT activity and requires conceptual thinking. Furthermore, dance can be seen as thought made visible and so it is "thinking aloud".
All are invited to share the experience and see veterans of the Jamaican stage such as Barry Moncrieffe and Barbara Requa in solo performance.
