Let’s Talk Garifuna

The Belize Students’ Association (BSAJ) and Vincentian Students’ Association (VINSA) in collaboration with the Department of Language, Linguistics and Philosophy, and the Institute of Caribbean Studies will host a presentation on Saturday, November 18, at the Undercroft of the Senate Building at 4:00 p.m. examining the journey of Garifuna (Caribs) from exile in St. Vincent to Belize. This presentation is entitled 'LET’S TALK GARIFUNA: Our Story, not HIStory'.
The main presenter will be Dr. Velma Pollard, former UWI lecturer.
