The School of Education, in conjunction with Ian Randle Publishers will have a tribute to Professor Dennis Craig on Thursday, November 30 at 5:00 p.m. in the Multi-Functional Room of the Main Library. This event will mark the occasion of the reprint of his final work, Teaching Language and Literature, initially published in 1999.
The tribute will take the form of a seminar on language education, discussing the reprinted text as well as some of his other well-known and seminal ideas that have influenced language teaching practice in the Caribbean.
A range of language education practitioners are invited to the celebration of his contribution in a formal and tangible way on the Mona Campus where he did so much of his work.
