Under the patronage of Professor Carolyn Cooper, The Reggae Studies Unit, UWI, Mona will host the launch of the book Overstanding Rastafari – “Jamaica’s Gift to the World” authored by Yasus Afari. The launch takes place on Thursday, March 29 at the Undercroft at 6:00 p.m. Guest speakers will be Dr. Clinton Hutton, Professor Barry Chevannes and Professor Verene Shepherd.
