The University of the West Indies, School of Continuing Studies – Jamaica Eastern (Camp Road) is inviting applications for its Easter Term 2007 which begins on January 8. Registration runs from November 27 to December 8 between the hours of 9:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m.
Short courses include: Computer Applications for the Office, Computer Fundamentals, Networking, PC Support/Maintenance, Web Page Design, Computer Graphics, Customer Relations & Telephone Techniques, Events Management, Marketing & Sales, Speech Writing and Public Speaking among others. There are also short regional associate degree component courses being offered which include: Human Resource Management, Introduction to Strategic Management, Introductory French and Spanish, Entrepreneurship and New Venture Creation and Introduction to Tort Law.
Preliminary courses for entry to UWI in Access English and Mathematics are also available along with one and two year certificate courses.
