Kuumba

On Wednesday & Thursday, November 29 & 30 the Philip Sherlock Centre for the Creative Arts (PSCCA) will host KUUMBA (creativity). This is the Art/Craft Market Place held on the lawns of the Centre from 10:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m. each day.
Institutions such as School of Hope (plants and craft items) and Sir John Golding Rehabilitation Centre's Monex Department (craft items) will be at the Market Place.
Others selling products include: 'Pure Xaymaca by Yvcar'(children's clothing), 'Hassan' (Gold & Silver Jewellery), 'Valvel Products' (crochet, knits, embroidery, 'Cubi-Jam Jewellery Collections', 'Koda Products' (leather), 'Spliffie Designs' (t-shirts), 'SARAI Clothing' (African prints, women's/men's wear, Ethiopian Sharmas and Dresses, Orthodox Crosses & Jewellery, African Sandals and handmade jewellery), 'Yadante' (jewellery), 'Beyond Jewellery' among others.
On Thursday, November 30 at 1 pm there will also be a free Lunch Hour Concert in the Theatre featuring items from the Multicare Foundation's Performing Arts Programme. This is the Foundation's Annual Children's Christmas Concert which features schools in Kingston and St. Catherine. This is a special treat as these students will entertain the campus community through song, dance, poetry, music etc.
