The Electronics Unit in partnership with the Department of Physics will offer Module 1 of its 3 modular courses in Industrial Electronics. Each module will run for 10 weeks with one 2½ hour class and a 4-hour lab each week. Module One which is an Introduction to Industrial Electronics commences on Thursday, January 19 at 5:30 pm and the corresponding labs session starts on Saturday, January 21 at 9 am.
This module will allow participants to grasp the basics of the field which includes an understanding of how AC and DC currents and voltages are produced and used, Electronics troubleshooting and design skills and knowledge of a variety of circuit components and how to effectively apply them to basic circuit designs.
