Earthquake Tips

An earthquake is a sudden motion or trembling of the ground produced by the abrupt displacement of rock masses.
Precautions before an Earthquake
Below are actions you need to take today!!!
1. Unstable, heavy furniture should be fastened to the
wall or bolted to the floor.
2. When loading storage cabinets, heavy objects should
be placed on lower shelves.
3. Always have non perishable food items in stock.
4. Family members should know basic First Aid and
Emergency Contact Numbers.
5. Purchase emergency equipment such as battery
operated radios and fire extinguisher for your home. Remember: Earthquakes have no season - always be prepared!
