The Reggae Studies Unit in collaboration with the Institute for Hospitality and Tourism, UWI, Mona will be offering a workshop in Event Planning and Management on Friday, February 23 and Saturday, February 24 at 9: 00 am daily in the Institute for Hospitality & Tourism Conference Room. The workshop is in response to the numerous opportunities presented by the entertainment fraternity for well-planned events.

The course is targeted at clients from the entertainment sector, the corporate community, financial institutions and government among others and will be delivered by the very experienced Samuel McCook. Mr. McCook has worked at several projects including the Jamaica Classic golf tournament, The Johnnie Walker World Championship of Golf, Sinbad Soul music Festival, the inaugural Air Jamaica Jazz and Blues Festival, Reggae SunSplash, Reggae Sumfest, The James Bond Festival, Negril Sprint Triathlon and Caribbean Sports.
