Mary Seacole Week is being celebrated from March 11-18 under the theme “Woman Revolutionized.” The week began with a church service followed by several other activities including: a Speech Fest, Lecture and Awards Ceremony. Other activities scheduled for the remaining of the week are: a Health Fair on Friday, March 16 in the Hall’s Parking Lot beginning at 10 am followed by an Alumni banquet at 8:00 p.m. at the Mona Visitors’ Lodge. There will also be a Drama Fest and Insurgency: The Ultimate After Party in the Mary Seacole Dining Room at 7:00 p.m. The week closes with Chune on Sunday, March 18 at 2:00 p.m. and Evening of Excellence Gospel Edition at 7:00 p.m. at the Dramatic Theatre, UWI, Mona. The Gospel Show features: Jai, Kevin Downswell, Christopher Martin, RB Gospel Singers and Oberlin High School.
