A. Z. Preston Hall Week
The Aston Z. Preston Hall Week runs from April 12-19 beginning with the Fifth A. Z. Preston Memorial Lecture. The Lecture takes place at the Undercroft, Senate Building, the University of the West Indies, Mona on Thursday April 12 at 2:30 p.m. The guest speaker will be Professor Barry Chevannes, Professor of Social Anthropology, UWI, Mona. His presentation is entitled “Re-engineering Social Consciousness: The Role of the UWI in Promoting Social Justice in Caribbean Societies”.
Other activities during the week of celebration include: Mentorship Treat; Valedictory Service and Hall Awards Ceremony on April 13 and April 14 respectively.
