The Caribbean Institute of Media and Communication (CARIMAC) Entrance Test will be held on Friday, April 13 at 10:00 a.m. at the Assembly Hall, UWI Mona, and UWI School of Continuing Studies, Montego Bay for persons sitting the examinations in Jamaica. There are also designated test centres throughout the Caribbean for other regional candidates.
The test is open to persons who have applied to the University of the West Indies, and are interested in pursuing the Media and Communication major, as well as current UWI students wishing to transfer from other majors.
In addition to passing the entrance test candidates must also fulfil the UWI's matriculation requirements to enrol in the BA in Media and Communication programme.
Candidates must take their acknowledgement letter as well as a valid form of identification to sit the test.
