Wellness Tips

• Are your home and office safe and hazard- free? E.g. Do you know where the circuit breakers are? Are cleaners and chemicals safely stored? Do you have a “fire-exit” plan? If you cannot answer yes to all these questions then you need to immediately take action to make your environment safer for you and the others who share your space.

• When is the last time you “got things off your chest”, “poured out your heart” or just had a good cry? Many of us get stress-related illnesses because we bottle up our emotions. Of course we don’t want to make a bad situation worse by releasing our emotions in a negative way e.g. verbally or physically attacking someone. Instead find a positive release for your emotions, such as “venting” to a sympathetic friend, writing in a journal or doing something creative.
