World Haemophilia Day is being celebrated this Tuesday, April 17 under the theme Improve your Life. However, the University Hospital of the West Indies will mount a poster display on April 18, showing useful exercises for haemophiliacs. There will also be a clinical presentation by orthopaedic surgeons and haematologists in the Main Medical Lecture Theatre beginning at 5 pm on April 18. The presentation will include a discussion on the care of three patients who have developed joint problems over the years and how they need to be treated both to prevent other joint damage and to address the already damage joints.

Physicians, nurses, health care providers and the public are invited to attend.
