Jean Small, retired Tutor/Coordinator, Phillip Sherlock Centre for the Creative Arts, UWI, Mona and Advanced Toastmaster – Silver from Dynamic Speakers Club and 2005 Caribbean Humourous Speech Champion, walked away with the coveted title of National Public Speaking Champion. The event was the recently held Toastmasters National Speech Finals. She along with National Champion for Table Topics (Impromptu Speaking) Orlando Morgan from National Housing Trust’s Visionaries will represent Jamaica at the Caribbean Public Speaking Championship at the 2007 May Conference in Kingston, May 18-20.
