CARIMAC Summer School Starts June 4

When undergraduate students retire for summer break this year, CARIMAC will welcome a new batch of students in its 25th annual Summer School Programme. The programme features some new courses such as Business Planning for the Self Employed, Short Feature Production for TV and Creativity Boot Camp, and some old favourites such as: Public Relations, Public Speaking and Radio Announcement and Presentation.

This year’s line-up boasts 25 courses grouped in seven areas: Media Management; Radio, TV and Film; Writing Techniques, Journalism and Publishing; Public Speaking and Media Relations; Photography and the Internet; Communication and the Mind, Movies and Money.

The courses target a wide spectrum of persons including veteran media and communication professionals and individuals desirous of pursuing a career in the field. Some courses are aimed specifically at practitioners in health, marketing, and community relations in the public and private sectors.

Summer School begins on June 4 and runs until August 25. Registration deadline is Monday, May 14.
